Dominican Cake, Quick Cakes, Fillings, and Meringue Icings:
Learn all the secrets of how to make a delicious Dominican cake. In this four-hour workshop, the student will learn three different versions of this famous cake. Learn how to make a Dominican Wedding Cake, a Traditional Dominican Cake, and a Commercial Dominican Cake. Using the same cake batter, we'll elaborate a marble cake, a pineapple upside-down cake, orange cupcakes, a raisin rum cake, and a two-layer traditional Dominican Cake. You will also learn how to make a delicious Strawberry Filling, Pineapple Filling, and a Dulce de Leche Filling. You will also learn how to make the perfect Meringue Frosting. At the end of the class, students will decorate cakes and cupcakes. Students will also bring the cakes and cupcakes home.

All ingredients for baking are included. Baking tools, equipment, or ingredients to take home are not included. But they will be available in the classroom

Classes are divided into two payments: The first payment (50%) is due when registering for the class. The second payment (50%) is due on the first day of class.

  • All of our classes are offered in English and Spanish.
  • Video or digital recording is not permitted in class.
  • You do not need to purchase any tools or equipment for the class.
    Everything needed to participate will be provided.
